Course Description:
Though it can feel like second nature to experienced drivers, driving is actually a highly complicated series of perfectly timed visual, motor, and cognitive skills. Concussions commonly impair these skills, making return to driving difficult. Learn how driving is impaired after a concussion with attention to the acute and subacute injury stages as well as clinical implications for managing driving
recommendations after concussion. Future directions in post-concussion driving management will also be discussed.

• Develop post-concussion driving recommendations for patients
