Venous Thrombosis: Ultrasound (US) and Intravascular Ultrasound (IVUS) Interpretation is organized by University of Cincinnati Center for Continuous Professional Development/CME, Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU).

Description:
This presentation will review ultrasound and intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) interpretation of variably aged thrombus. A case-based approach will be presented to correlate findings across both US and IVUS.

Objectives:
As a result of participating in this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss overview of venous thrombosis
  • Discuss US criteria and examples of venous thrombosis cases
  • Discuss DVT cases of various chronicity using US and IVUS
