Course Description:
This activity will provide a basic overview of venous anatomy and pathophysiology. The intent of this activity is to improve the learners' competency through this introduction to venous anatomy and pathophysiology.

Learning Objectives:
As a result of this activity, the participant should be able to:
• Identify the major superficial and deep venous systems of the body.
• Recognize the surrounding structures which need to be considered in rendering venous treatments.
• Compare venous ultrasonography with clinical anatomy.
