Description:
This course will review the current evidence concerning the efficacy and safety of medical marijuana for select medical conditions. This program will also review the risks associated with the use of marijuana (adverse effects, impaired function, and medical-legal). Among patients using marijuana for medical conditions, healthcare providers (HCPs) should be able to discuss the risks and potential benefits of such use.

Objectives:
• Describe cannabinoid pharmacology and therapeutics
• Discuss evidence-based benefits of marijuana for specific medical conditions
• Describe medical concerns, controversies, and legal issues surrounding marijuana use
