Description
In response to the ongoing changes in health care and the Future of Nursing 2030 recommendations, nursing education programs have reframed challenges as opportunities to provide more hands-on and unique community-based learning experiences for students. This panel discussion will describe community clinical experiences offered by two OADN institutional member nursing programs. Strategies for building partnerships within the community and the benefit of using community-based clinical experiences to facilitate learning about social determinants of health will be presented and discussed.
