About this Course
In this course, Dr. Gary DeWood will cover the fundamentals of using the Hanau articulator and facebow system. Participants will learn the parts and pieces of the Hanau articulator, how to take a record to mount the upper cast using a facebow, how to mount the upper cast on the Hanau articulator, how to trim the bite record used to mount the lower cast, and how to stabilize and mount the lower model against the upper. The final lesson describes customizing the Hanau articulator for each patient using a protrusive bite record to precisely mimic jaw movements.
