The World Federation of Chiropractic has recently proposed a 21st century model of chiropractic care known as “EPIC”: Evidence-based, People-centered, Inter-professional and Collaborative. Dr. Schneider believes that the profession should not be content with the goal of merely surviving for another 100 years. Instead, he suggests that the profession should set its sights higher, with the goal of thriving in the 21st century. He will discuss the “EPIC” model, as well as the many challenges and opportunities that the chiropractic profession needs to address as it prepares to thrive as a mature and mainstream healthcare profession.
