OVERVIEW
Translating the Managed Care Value Proposition to the Treatment of Multiple Sclerosis and Patient-Centered Care is organized by North American Center for Continuing Medical Education (NACCME) and will be held during Jun 22, 2017 - Jun 22, 2018.
The target audience for this medical event is pharmacy directors, medical directors, and other decision makers working in managed care organizations such as private payers, pharmacy benefit managers, Medicare/Medicaid, VA/DOD, large employers, hospitals, integrated delivery networks, long-term care, and other segments. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Conference Objectives:
After completing this actvity, participants should be able to:
• Describe the clinical consequences of suboptimal treatment and management of MS
• Outline the latest clinical trial data on available and emerging therapies for patients with MS, including PPMS
• Develop proper SDM management plans for the monitoring and management of acute relapses and disease related symptoms, considering both pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic therapeutic options
• Develop programs within health plans guide physicians in the treatment and management of MS, as well as to improve adherence to DMTs among patients with MS
