Description:
Learners will understand the definition of burnout in the nephrology setting. This activity will review ways for professionals to assess their self-care methods and implement a self-care plan to enhance physical, emotional, spiritual, relational and professional self.

Learning Objectives:
After participation in this activity, learners will be better able to:
• Define and describe burnout 
• Complete a self-assessment to determine where they are on the burnout scale and identify areas to modify their practice or to seek help
• List and discuss ways to decrease burnout to enhance self-care
