The Use of Whole Exome Sequencing In Clinical Practice is organized by Pri-Med and will be held during Dec 21, 2015 - Dec 21, 2018. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 0.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Overview :

In this talk, Wendy Chung, Director of Clinical Genetics at Columbia University, describes the ins and outs of whole exome sequencing is, compare it to other molecular genetic diagnostic tests, and discuss the clinical indications for which it is effective in making a diagnosis. Dr. Chung reviews the interpretation of results and compare current methods with upcoming changes in methodology and technology. She also discusses specific examples in which the diagnosis has affected management and outcome of diseases.
