This activity was planned with a goal to optimize patients on their current statin treatment strategies to achieve desired LDL reduction, and to identify patients who truly need the addition of non-statin therapies in order to reach “acceptable LDL thresholds.”

Learner Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, the participant should be able to:
• Recognize the barriers in the administration of evidence-based therapies for LDL.
• Evaluate the need for non- statin therapies according to guideline-based assessment of ASCVD risk.
• Utilize a framework for incorporating non-statin therapies into the management of high-risk patients.

Intended Audience

This interprofessional webinar is intended for all healthcare professionals involved in delivering cardiovascular care, with particular emphasis on cardiologists, as well as members of the cardiovascular team
