After completing this course, the participant should be able to:
• describe breast imaging with ultrasound, including anatomy, technical aspects, indications and findings
• discuss the ACRIN 6666 results and the ultrasound lexicon as published by the ACR
• describe the role of screening ultrasound and procedures under ultrasound guidance
• describe the biopsy procedure under stereotactic and MRI
• discuss biopsy techniques including core, fine needle and vacuum assisted
