The Evolving Migraine Paradigm: Tailoring Treatment is organized by Medical Communications Media (MCM) Education and will be held during Jun 19, 2017 - Jun 19, 2018.

The target audience for this medical event is Internal medicine/primary care physicians, nurse practitioners (NPs) and physician assistants (PAs), neurologists, and other clinicians involved in the management of patients with migraine. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 0.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Course Description:
Migraine is underdiagnosed and frequently misdiagnosed, undertreated, and/or improperly managed, leading to reduced health-related quality of life, increased risk of psychiatric and medical comorbidities, and increased headache-related burden. This activity will improve clinicians' ability to manage migraine in adult patients, resulting in improved outcomes for patients.

Conference Objectives are :
Upon completion of this educational activity, the participant should be able to:
• Review current evidence-based pharmacologic treatment options for the management of acute migraine.
• Review current evidence-based pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic treatment options for the prevention of chronic migraine.
• Recall strategies for preventing and managing non-headache symptoms of migraine.
