Description:
Subspecialist Tips for the Multispecialist is designed to provide a clinically-focused update on the most current imaging guidelines, terminology, and disease classifications. Incorporating consistent terminology and up-to-date national and international recommendations into imaging reports can boost communication between radiologists and clinicians, resulting in better patient care. Imaging reports that are consistent, focused, and based upon evidence-based medicine are expected in the current environment of value-based reimbursement and healthcare payment reforms.

Goals and Objectives:
After completing the material in this article, the learner should be able to:
• Identify current white papers, ACR Appropriateness Criteria™, and other national and international guidelines that encourage best practices across multiple subspecialties.
• Describe critical imaging findings in adult and pediatric patients with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, genitourinary, and musculoskeletal system.
• Describe and implement LI-RADS™ for reporting of liver lesions in patients with cirrhosis.
• List updated concepts in prostate MRI, including PI-RADS™ and MRI-targeted biopsy.

Additional details will be posted as soon as the information is available.
