Stroke Journal Webinar 27: Brain Stimulation in Stroke Recovery is organized by American Heart Association (AHA) and would be held during Jan 13, 2016 to Jan 12, 2020. The Target audience basically for this Event Stroke and Cerebrovascular.
In the last 3 decades, significant advances have been made in understanding the mechanisms underlying recovery of motor function following stroke. This has been in great part due to the development of non-invasive brain stimulation techniques such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS). Of note, these tools have also shown to enhance motor function and possibly, recovery after stroke.
