This seminar will explore personal health issues such as new and altered diseases significant to dental professionals including infectious diseases, allergies, public health risks and bioterrorism. Resistant pathogens and biofilm diseases are focussed topics. These issues are discussed in accordance with occupational risk, illness prevention and post-exposure responses. Post-conference one will leave with a plan for managing today’s microbial challenges using standard and transmission-based precautions. This will also include COVID-19 and respiratory protection, infection control changes. Some valuable handouts (models for questionnaires, questionnaire reporting and medical referral forms, and ATD screening forms) are also included in this webcast.
