Objectives:
At the conclusion of this collaborative webinar with the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM), participants should be able to:
• Perform a comprehensive screening exam for plantar heel pain in the athlete,
• Describe the anatomy of the plantar fascia and be able to distinguish the central and lateral bands/cords, and
• Understand the neuroanatomy of the heel and potential sites of entrapment/injury.
