Sports Injuries 275: Rotator Cuff Injuries Course is organized by CCEDSeminars.

Course Description: 
Rotator cuff injuries can be season and career-threatening. Athletes of all ages, sports, and levels can acquire rotator cuff conditions. This two-hour class covers the anatomy and physiology of the rotator cuff. The mechanism of injuries will be discussed in depth. The essentials of a thorough evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment will be covered. In-office treatment skills and patient education will be discussed in detail.

Course Outline:
• Detailed description of anatomy and physiology of the rotator cuff.
• Diagnostic tools to increase knowledge.
• Patient education strategies for prevention and rehabilitation of the rotator cuff.
• Short-term and long-term training strategies for rotator cuff health.

• Build an increased understanding of the anatomy & physiology of the rotator cuff.
• Expand clinical knowledge to prevent and rehabilitate shoulder injuries.
• Apply skills in the management of rotator cuff injuries.
