OVERVIEW

Spine Deformity Management is organized by American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) and will be held from Sep 15, 2016 - Sep 15, 2019. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 0.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

Adult spinal deformity is an increasingly recognized cause of back pain. A thorough understanding of the types of spinal deformity and the measurements needed to understand the amount of correction that should be accomplished is essential for today’s neurosurgeon. This course will address the types of spinal deformity, the spino-pelvic parameters that should be calculated for every deformity patient, the osteotomies that can be performed to achieve deformity correction, and the evaluation of deformity patients.

Conference Objectives are:
• Identify different types of spinal deformity
• Measure the most important spino-pelvic parameters
• Describe the different grades of osteotomies
