Description:
The MRI Professional will understand pertinent anatomy, what the common referring specialists want to see with regard to spinal imaging, pulse sequences to best visualize the necessary structures, and  known slice prescriptions that optimize visualization of pertinent structures.

Educational Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity, the learner should be better able to:
• Review the anatomy of the spine and the common anatomy requested for imaging by referring physicians
• Have a better understanding of anatomy and scanning techniques to yield better patient outcomes
• Discuss the pulse sequences and slice prescriptions required to optimize visualization of spinal structures
