Description:
We will touch on inflammatory conditions, tumors, and cosmetics in this information packed session.  The ever-expanding formulary for both topicals and biologics will be placed into context with older, traditional therapies.  A diagnostic framework for differential diagnosis will be offered for select disease states.

Learning Objectives:

  • Develop a rational approach to urticaria and pruritus
  • Formulate a workup and treatment plan for androgenetic alopecia
  • Describe a first-line topical approach to ameliorate the aging face targeting sun damage and wrinkles
  • Recognize common skin cancers
  • Summarize recent updates in the therapeutic landscape for psoriasis, eczema, and hidradenitis suppurativa
