Goal:
The goal of this educational activity is to inform and educate pharmacists about the management of narcolepsy and enable pharmacists to counsel patients and other healthcare professionals about dosage and administration, risk-benefit analysis, and safety of agents used to treat narcolepsy to optimize patient care and outcomes.

Educational Objectives:
Upon completion of this program, participants should be better able to:
• Describe the burden of disease associated with narcolepsy with and without cataplexy including incidence, early signs of onset, and impact on affected individuals.
• Evaluate approved and investigational medication categories used in the management of narcolepsy along with dosage and administration recommendations.
• Assess safety data and precautions for approved and emerging narcolepsy medications to advise patients and optimize medication safety.
