Description:
The American Heart Association's Portuguese ACLS Prep courses are self-paced eLearning courses designed for students preparing to take the Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support course. These courses are also ideal for healthcare professionals who need a basic understanding of drug interactions and basic rhythm recognition skills related to ACLS algorithms.

ECG:
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:

Explain the anatomy and basic electrophysiology of the heart
Explain normal ECG measurements
Recognize and understand basic arrhythmias

Pharmacology:

Understand basic ACLS medications and their use
Understand medication doses and routes of administration during cardiovascular emergencies
Apply basic Pharmacology to ACLS algorithms
