Overview:
Pain is a cross-cutting, frequent and often important symptom in the initial diagnosis of a disease and, when it becomes chronic, it can become a disease in its own right . Chronic pain can be accompanied by degenerative diseases (rheumatic, bone, metabolic, oncological). In any case, pain undermines the physical and mental integrity of the patient and his family, with a significant impact on the quality of life . It is difficult to cure, requires a global and multidisciplinary approach and therapeutic interventions managed with a high level of competence and specialization.

The objective of the training course on Low Back Pain is to present the pathophysiology of chronic pain , its epidemiology and the diagnostic framework, up to a specific study on the therapy and appropriateness of use of strong analgesics.

• Application in daily practice of the principles and procedures of evidence based practice (EBM - EBN - EBP)
