Description:
This educational activity will focus on recognition of the subtle signs and symptoms of Rett syndrome during the early stages of the disorder as well as identifying the presentation of Rett syndrome in males. The desired results of this activity are to increase the knowledge and competence of neurologists who treat patients with Rett syndrome and nurse practitioners and physician assistants who may work with neurologists who treat/encounter patients with Rett syndrome.

Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, participants will be better able to:
• Recognize subtle signs and symptoms of Rett syndrome during the early stages of the disorder to promptly diagnose patients
• Identify the presentation of Rett syndrome in males to correctly diagnose patients
