Real World Assessments of Recent Trials for Diabetic Macular Edema is organized by Vindico Medical Education and will be held during Dec 21, 2016 - Dec 20, 2018.
The target audience for this medical event is retina specialists, retina fellows, residents, comprehensive ophthalmologists and other health care professionals involved in the treatment of patients with retinal disease. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 0.5 CME Credits.
Conference Objectives are :
Upon successful completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
• Review the basics in the design and execution of clinical trials pertaining to retinal pharmacotherapy.
• Review the role of imaging studies and reading centers in clinical trials.
• Summarize the role of inflammation in diabetic macular edema and retinal vein occlusion.
• Review pivotal clinical studies for the management of diabetic macular edema and retinal vein occlusion.
• Explain how evidence gained from clinical trials should be used to guide everyday clinical practice.
