Course Description:
Quality and Safety in Radiology - is a two-part program designed to reach a broad spectrum of meeting attendees. The first part of the program is basic in focus and presumes no prior knowledge of the material. The second part is advanced / focused, is presented at a higher level and is aimed at a more restricted target audience.
Goals and Objectives:
At the completion of module 1, the attendees will gain a basic knowledge of the history and aims of the Quality & Safety Movement in Radiology, the basic terminology, definitions and methods, and understand the role of organizational culture. A practical example of how to design and conduct a quality & safety initiative from start-to-finish will also be presented. Module 2 will help physician-educators develop and enhance their expertise in Quality & Safety and related research.
