Prognosis and Prediction of Disease Course is organized by Vindico Medical Education and will be held during Dec 22, 2015 - Dec 09, 2018.
The target audience for this medical event is gastroenterologists, pediatric gastroenterologists, internal medicine physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other health care professionals involved in the treatment of patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 0.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Conference Objectives are :
Upon successful completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
• Differentially diagnose inflammatory bowel disease using current classification criteria as well as diagnostic modalities, such as serologic, genetic, and inflammation markers.
• Develop treatment strategies that achieve long-term remission and minimize risk of relapse in Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.
• Implement strategies for monitoring disease activity and mucosal healing in accordance with the most current definitions in patients with inflammatory bowel disease.
• Implement individualized therapy by using evidence-based prognostic tools and serological markers to predict disease course in inflammatory bowel disease.
• Summarize recent therapeutic advances for ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease and their potential implications for the future treatment of inflammatory bowel disease.
