Uniquely, psoriasis has many variants that are often encountered in clinical practice and can challenge even the most experienced clinician. While psoriasis is primarily a clinical diagnosis, the role of the skin biopsy will be discussed. Clinical mimickers and careful examination is mandatory for accurate diagnosis. Mimickers of psoriasis will also be described.

Educational Objectives:
After completing this activity, participants will able to:
• Describe the clinical presentation of psoriasis variants as well as psoriasis in different skin types
• Analyze the specific management challenges associated with these clinical variants
• Discuss how to differentiate psoriasis from other skin conditions, such as eczema, contact dermatitis, nummular dermatitis, and mycosisfungoides
• Examine triggers and the disease's natural history as aids in correct diagnosis
