• Review the epidemiology of opioid overdose
• Describe the rationale for and scope of overdose education and naloxone distribution (OEND) programs
• Implement OEND in settings that offer medication for opioid use disorder
• Educate patients about overdose risk reduction
• Prescribe naloxone rescue kit
