This course will serve as a review and update on epidemiology shrouded in social determinates as well as biological, genetic, behavioral, and environmental factors. In this Webcast, recorded live at the 2017 American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Annual Clinical and Scientific Meeting, an expert faculty member reviews strategies for treating preterm labor and preventing recurrent preterm birth. The racial disparities of preterm birth and its effect on infant mortality and long-term morbidity are also explored.
