Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis for HIV Prevention is organized by David Geffen School of Medicine at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and will be held during May 16, 2017 - May 15, 2018. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is a recent tool used by physicians to reduce risk of transmission of HIV in high-risk populations. Dr. Raphael Landovitz discusses the history of development of PrEP, current practices, and possible directions for the future with regard to further decreasing the transmission rate.

• Counsel patients on the risk and benefits of prescribing PrEP.
• Refer appropriate patients to HIV clinics for PrEP.
