Description:
Post-stroke Care in the Early Recovery Period provides an overview of the current best practices in post-stroke care during the subacute to early chronic phases of stroke.

Learning Objectives:
At the completion of this course, the learner will be able to:

Describe the organization of post-acute rehabilitation care in the United States.
Identify methods and tools for assessment of disability and rehabilitation needs.
Identify assessment, intervention, and goals of stroke rehabilitation utilizing appropriate patient selection.
Recognize the value and need of the family and caregivers to the post-stroke treatment plan and in stroke rehabilitation.
