Polypharmacy is on the rise - and so are its risks. In this 90-minute course, you’ll explore the scope and consequences of polypharmacy in North American healthcare, uncover the medications most commonly involved, and learn how to spot the subtle signs of harm. Through targeted case discussions on PPIs, benzodiazepines, Z-drugs, and opioids, you’ll gain practical insights into deprescribing strategies and risk mitigation. Walk away with evidence-based knowledge and clinical pearls to help reduce medication burden and improve patient outcomes.
