Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) Awareness: Reducing Health Disparities is organized by Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association (PCNA).

Course Overview
Peripheral artery disease (PAD) and heart disease share the same risk factors and often co-exist. This CE course on PAD is presented by Abbie Schrader, ARNP, who discusses the epidemiology of PAD and its comorbidities, including the disparities in diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes.

PAD is a life-threatening condition that can be managed with proper care, but health disparities exist. Race, sex, and even location play a role in PAD outcomes. Take our CE course on PAD to learn what nurses can do to reduce these health disparities.
