Description :
This course reviews the treatment guidelines for children with the most common benign and malignant tumors of childhood, with a focus on radiotherapy. Indications for radiotherapy are discussed, in addition to radiotherapy planning guidelines. Clinical outcomes including disease control and toxicity are examined.

Learning Objectives :
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to do the following:
Formulate treatment recommendations for common pediatric tumors.
Develop radiation treatment plans using appropriate dose, volume, and planning parameters.
Recognize the potential acute and late toxicity associated with radiotherapy in the pediatric population.
