Description:
Listen to this 70 minute recorded presentation by one of our directors of clinical education talk about Respiratory Interventions in the pediatric client.  This course is intended for health care professionals to gain a baseline knowledge for care to a pediatric patient.

Criteria for successful completion of activity
• Complete entire Self-Directed Learning
• Complete evaluation with electronic submission

Objectives:
The learner will:
Discuss how to achieve optimal aeration in a child who is in respiratory distress via the following interventions:
• Positioning
• Nasopharyngeal suctioning
• Chest physiotherapy
• Nebulizer therapy
• Cough assist
• Intrapulmonary percussive ventilation (IPV)
• Oxygen
• Hand ventilation
• BiPAP
