Description:
This training was designed to increase awareness and assist providers and healthcare team in strategizing and communicating to patients the importance of receiving dyslipidemia screening and follow up care. 

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify children at greatest risk for accelerated atherosclerosis
  • Formulate a plan for how to manage children with dyslipidemias
  • Recognize the role of the pediatric preventive cardiologist.
