Course Description:
The course is designed to train the Chiropractic Assistant involved in radiology. The class has several modules that are all included in one tuition price. The modules and featured topics are listed below.

This course is approved for CA CEUs in the State of South Dakota.

Outline:
Modules
• Introduction to patient care in radiology
• Ionization and Radiation
• Methods of producing quality X-rays
• Darkroom procedures
• Patient protection
• Public and occupational protection

Objectives:
This six-hour course discusses the role of the chiropractic assistant and radiology. The course is designed to provide Chiropractic Assistants with current information on x-ray production, patient protection, and procedures related to producing quality radiographs in the chiropractic office.

The learner’s activities and actual course time are tracked electronically. The learner is engaged in this distance-based class by the use of interactive teaching tools.
