Description:
This activity is designed to provide a practical review of gynecologic, gastrointestinal and genitourinary pathology. Faculty discuss basic to advanced techniques, pitfalls and pearls to pathology diagnosis. Rounding out the curriculum are interactive case reviews of gynecologic, obstetric, gastrointestinal and genitourinary pathology emphasizing the material.
Objectives:
At the completion of this CME activity, subscribers should be able to:
• More accurately diagnose pathologic disorders in gynecologic and obstetric pathology.
• Demonstrate increased awareness into gynecologic, obstetric, gastrointestinal and genitourinary pathology.
• Recognize, assess and diagnose gastric polyps, dysplasia and their clinical correlations.
• Differentiate neoplastic and non-neoplastic small intestinal pathology.
• Recognize mimickers of bladder carcinoma and increase understanding of the diagnosis and staging of bladder carcinoma.
• Develop a better understanding of the Gleason-Gleason grading system.
• More accurately recognize and evaluate gastrointestinal mesenchymal lesions.
• Recognize mimickers and variants of prostate carcinoma.
• Increase understanding of spindle cell lesions in the genitourinary tract.
