Description:
Pain affects patients mentally and physically. Pain management in pediatric pancreatitis presents unique challenges due to the severity of the condition and the age of the patients involved. A multidisciplinary approach is crucial. Moreover, addressing underlying causes of pancreatitis and providing supportive care are integral to effective pain management in pediatric cases. Learners will listen to a patient diagnosed with pancreatitis, learn about endoscopic surgical therapy, as well as the importance of taking care of the patients' mental health.
