Oxygen Therapy: What you need to know to get it right for your patients. This webinar discusses evaluation and testing requirements for Long Term Oxygen Therapy (LTOT) treatment, documentation guidelines for writing the proper prescription, considerations regarding matching the right oxygen delivery system to the clinical and lifestyle needs of the patient, as well as, identifying the gaps that contribute to poor adherence to long term oxygen therapy and recommendations for possible solutions.

Educational Objectives:

  1. List the methods for evaluating the need for Long Term Oxygen Therapy (LTOT), and qualifying a patient for home oxygen coverage. 
  2. How to write a proper oxygen prescription.
  3. Match the oxygen delivery system to meet the clinical and lifestyle needs of the patient.
  4. Identify the gaps that contribute to poor adherence to long term oxygen therapy and list possible solutions.
