At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to: 
• Describe common orthopedic injuries seen in children
• Identify signs of open fractures and discuss need for early antibiotic administration
• Discuss Deep Vein Thrombosis and Pulmonary Embolism in children and the recommended treatment based on the level of risk.
• Recognize causes and signs and symptoms of compartment syndrome
