Description:
As a nurse, we should always be asking ourselves and others "Why"?? Respiratory care is one area where nurses have a major impact on care. This class will review the anatomy and physiology of the cardiopulmonary and respiratory system, respiratory assessment and treatment options. Students area actively involved in learning a systematic history/physical assessment for respiratory care, learning common respiratory diagnosis and reviewing current treatments and interventions including both the adult and pediatric populations.
