Conference Description:
This course provides learners with a comprehensive review of the possible causes of wheezing in the pediatric patient.

Learning Objectives:
• Describe how abnormalities in the anatomy and physiology of the airway lead to wheezing.
• Perform differential diagnosis to identify or rule out the most common causes of wheezing in the pediatric patient.
• Determine the appropriate time to refer to a specialist.
• Prescribe appropriate treatment for the wheezing patient after careful consideration and discussion of side effects from commonly used medications.
