This course provides an in-depth overview of noninvasive cardiac diagnostic testing for healthcare professionals in acute care settings. Learners will explore the purpose, clinical indications, and patient education considerations for electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms (ECHO), stress testing, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and tilt-table testing. Emphasis is placed on clinical decision-making, patient safety, and identifying test-specific contraindications and preparation requirements. The course also addresses implicit bias in cardiovascular care to promote equitable outcomes across diverse populations.
