Non-infectious Uveitis: Moving Beyond the Standard of Care with an Eye on the Evidence is organized by Vindico Medical Education and will be held during Jan 11, 2017 - Dec 21, 2018.
The target audience for this medical event is comprehensive ophthalmologists, retina specialists, and other health care professionals involved in the treatment of patients with uveitis. This CME Conference has been approved for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Conference Objectives are :
Upon successful completion of this educational activity, participants should be better able to:
• Review the role of cytokines in the pathophysiology of non-infectious uveitis to better understand therapeutic regimens that assist in the reduction of inflammation.
• Apply evidence-based diagnostic methods to case studies of patients with suspected uveitis.
• Compare the mechanisms of action, safety, and efficacy of newer medications for non-infectious uveitis with current standard-of-care regimens.
• Design evidence-based treatment regimens for non-infectious uveitis that include when to initiate and when to switch therapy, and that address the specific requirements of individual patients.
