This 60-minute course is designed to equip Naturopathic Doctors with a clear understanding of their professional boundaries as defined by the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO). Participants will delve into the legislative framework governing naturopathic practice in Ontario, focusing on the specific requirement for performing controlled act. Through a detailed discussion, you’ll explore what is permissible under the naturopathic scope of practice, the responsibilities associated with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and the importance of referrals. By the end, participants will also gain insights into the critical consequences of failing to comply with CONO standards.
