OVERVIEW
Motivational Interviewing and Coaching is organized by North American Center for Continuing Medical Education (NACCME) and would be held during Mar 26, 2015 - Mar 26, 2018.
The target audience for this medical event are primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants, registered dietitians, certified diabetes educators, pharmacists and other related healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of patients with cardiometabolic conditions. This CME conference has been approved with a maximum of 0.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.
Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, participants should be able to:
• Compare and contrast the coaching methodology to patient education
• Analyze techniques to solicit and clarify the patient's agenda
• Discuss at least three techniques that raise patient awareness to forward their action
