This presentation will teach participants to identify the emerging medical treatments for common disorders seen in primary care including acne, warts, atopic dermatitis, diaper dermatitis, cradle cap, acanthosis nigricans, pityriasis alba, hand foot and mouth disease, tinea versicolor, tinea manuum, urticaria, pyogenic granuloma, erythema multiforme, fifth’s disease, impetigo, alopecia, contact dermatitis, birthmarks, spitz nevi, eclipse nevi, dermatitis herpeticum.

Learning Objectives:
After taking part in this educational activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Identify the emerging medical treatments for common disorders seen in primary care including acne, warts, atopic dermatitis, diaper dermatitis, cradle cap, acanthosis nigricans, pityriasis alba, hand foot and mouth disease, tinea versicolor, and tinea manuum.
  • Identify the emerging medical treatments for common disorders seen in primary care including urticaria, pyogenic granuloma, erythema multiforme, fifth’s disease, impetigo, alopecia, contact dermatitis, birthmarks, spitz nevi, eclipse nevi, dermatitis herpeticum.
  • Discern treatments and when patients require referral to dermatology to initiate
